• Gastronomic treats in August

August is the perfect month to visit Gilcar Farm holiday cottages with two gastronomic treats in the area.

First up is the Huddersfield Food & Drink Festival which starts on Thursday 9 August and runs through till Sunday 12th.

Taking place in St. George's Square in the centre of Huddersfield, just 15 minutes drive from Gilcar Farm, the event is the largest free food festival in Yorkshire, and boasts an impressive line-up of demonstrations and sampling sessions.
